  • this bottle was collecting dust on the retailer's shelf. thought this might be an undiscovered gem since it has not been reviewed by major sources. the wine turned out to be rather modest and forgetable. this is apparently a producer who does this to supplement his main product from chassagne-montrachet. color was thin. relatively light body. slight hint of oxidation with fruit becoming somewhat raisin-like. not unpleasant, but have had other st. aubin's that offered more value at this price point. perhaps should have been consumed earlier.
