Taylors cellar door tour tasting (26 Waterloo Street, Surry Hills, Sydney): Plummy, chocolate, a little baked clay and vanilla. Blind it could almost be a Zin but for the lack of that herbaceous underpin. On the palate, though, it's a little more obvious - richly plummy and textually dense; plenty of glycerol thickness without being overtly tanning. The alcohol, though present, is integrated. A good stew wine (half for the pot, half for your belly)
