Nose still muted, colour seems aged brown edge, but 5 years only. Vanilla, toasted oak, Jammy, minerals, savoury, sea salt, some ginseng root, lotus seed with hints of bitterness towards the end. Pretty complex with Med+ finishing.

Very refined Cab Shiraz. Inky in the glass with a very prominent Cab nose - Shiraz definitely more evident on the palate though. Licorice bomb with a moreish cranberry and cassis underpalate that gives way to a vanilla finish. Would cellar this for up to 10 years as it is only just starting to open up now and still so very young.
