  On the nose, it's cherry, raisin, a bit of powdery mint. The texture is smooth, but with drying tannins in the finish, threatening to suck the life out of me actually. However, it opens up quite nicely, with a blanket layer of black and red fruits, and a goodly amount of sundried tomato. At that point, it's quite nice.

  Simple, affordable no nonsense Sangiovese. Decanted for 4 hours (just to be on the safe side). Black fruit with cherry, cassis and a soup on of mint. Well balanced with low tannin and a medium finish. Well worth the money and will buy again. Ate with bucatini and home made bolognese with truffle oil, liquid smoke and umami powder. Paired well!

  Let decant for 1 hour - better this way. Rich taste. Good for the price; will get again.
