Yawn. Drank in conjunction with Bordeaux Blanc - the Bordeaux was quickly consumed, this Avennia barely touched. All agreed that there was nothing disagreeable, but nothing particularly appealing, either. The oak influence rounds out any interest the Sauvignon Blanc might have had and effectively subdues this into boredom.

Extreeeeemely pale yellow almost white in color. Very dry. Stone fruit. Some mild citrus. Nice acidity but overly acidic.
My first Sav Blanc from WA. Won’t be my last.

An acceptable but not especially interesting sauvignon blanc, slightly sharp, not very floral, but lemony.

Leesy wax, rich texture, tangy citrus washed away with bitter and unctuous tannins. Hint of petrol? Amazeballs QPR. 90+
