Beautifully balanced. Nose of vanilla and dark fruits. Decanted for 90 minutes and this was coravined a month ago. Lovely wine pitted vs. the 2018 Keenan Napa Cab and they came in tied. Fun comparison.

Decanted for 30 min, back to bottle, and followed for an hour.
Nose shows gravelly earth, tart red fruits, hint of smoky spice. Palate is true medium body, tangy black plums, zesty red fruits, classic BDX acidity, hint of cigar. Finish shows smoky dark fruits and nice mineral acidity (almost orange or citrus like). Tannins are present but very restrained and elegant.
Graceful, elegant, classy, etc., are all descriptors of this wine. Needs air to show best. 90-91 now, could go 92 with a few more years in bottle. Should be fantastic in 2025-2027. Should be even better with food.
Day 2: a third of the bottle was saved at cellar temp. Palate has rounded out to show off those zesty red fruits. Still some tannins dry the palate with time. Strangely, it has a similar red fruit profile as some Chianti wines I've had. Not a bad thing, as I am a big fan of Chianti/CCR. Lovely wine.

Excellent wine! Very nicely balanced. May get a little better with a couple more years but very drinkable now. Going back to the store to buy more!

Smoke, espresso and toffee aromas come along with soft, red fruits, making this a really nice, early drinking, soft textured charmer.
