Friday night relaxation after a busy week. Brilliant value English rosé - under a tenner on offer in Waitrose.
Nosel: Sharp, precise, almost citric, fresh red berries, decided bitter tone, kind of orange zest, countered by ripe Scottish strawberries.
Pal: Ample weight/ripeness, again countered by brisk acidity, bringing the wine to life - balance. More almost citric red fruit, red apple skin, subtle tart cranberries and red berries (that you used to get with choc dessert). Stemmy/leave-like grip.
Fin: Steely fresh, wet rocks.
