  I'm not really sure the score is sufficient to describe how much I enjoyed this wine. It's possible that this is the most perfect bottle of Macon Fuisse ever made, but that's not how the rating system generally works. It has absolutely perfect balance. Inviitng citrus and apple fruit, Excellent acidity that rounds it just right. I continue to be in awe of the potential of '05 in Burgundy. For pure drinking pleasure without having to take out a second mortgage, this was as enjoyable bottle of chardonnay as I can remember.
