  There is a lot going on here. Maybe too much. This seems quite rough and in-your-face. I usually like wines like this, but I found this to be a little too edgy for my tastes. Moderately clear garnet colour. Strong nose of oak and cinnamon. Cherries and earth on the palate with some spice. It was OK with cheese before dinner, but might have been better with the BBQ pork we ate for main course.
