Tasted blind. Bright, purple, opaque in the glass. Aromas of black/red currant and black cherry, violet, black pepper, cedar, leather, graphite and nutmeg. Succulent, fresh/ripe black fruit on the palate, savory and oak-driven spices, florals and minerals. Medium-body, medium acid, round fleshy tannins. Good overall complexity, and showing surprisingly open and giving for being so young. Very nice.

Much more classic Pauillac to it. Meaning different from the Canary Island wine I just drank. Dark cherries, lovely, lively. Red plum notes Ryan.

With some Pauillac red fruit on the nose and spice. Bill notes that the oak isn't all that integrated at this point. And right next to Latour to boot.
