Strong Pauillac nose is absent. Red fruit. Very slight hint of the characteristic pencil lead. Not a prototypical Pauillac experience, but tasty. Some acidity remains, but not sure fruit will keep up for the duration. Drink now thru 2018(?)

Old World Blind Tasting Group $40+ (Bin 75): Very dark core with dull garnet rim; Bordeaux nose, deep, compost, red and dark currant, strong soil influence, green pepper, cigar, leather; structured, good balance, fruit, vegetal, non fruit; at a great spot now, tasty.
