Nice wine. I've noticed that there's a fairly consistent sweet spot of about 8 years old where a decent Oregon pinot will be consistently tasty. This is my last bottle in a half case and, while I've liked the earlier bottles, this one is the most settled. Right now, it tastes like a Beaune with a slight cinnamon edge.

Stellar Columbia gorge Pinot. 4 of 4 bottles, 2 2016 and 2 2015, and each was consistently good. Wet earth and dark fruit, a little spice, light bodied and good versatile. This paired nicely with a peanut stew.

This is tasting really nice right now. Yes, it is on the lighter side now that the spice, acetic acid, and cough drop fruitiness has integrated. A delightful wine for sunny fall days like today.

Notes consistent with past notes except better. This wine is in a really nice place right now. I’ve noticed that well-produced but “basic” Oregon Pinot Noir consistently has a 6-8 year window when they almost always taste great. The alcohol, cough drops, cherries, and acetic acid are now integrated and (I think) exactly where the winemakers wanted this wine to go when they made this wine. I hope they saved a couple of cases for their tasting room to show what their wines blossom into because right now I’d take this over a current release any day of the week.

Quite nice and as good as this wine is going to get. Cough drop notes are fading slightly and a mineral note is coming out.
