  This bottle was opened on 7/14 for a BBQ, but I did not get around to trying until tonight. I don't know if it was this tasty when opened, but this bad boy is singing right now. Dark red in color, but not quite opaque throughout. The nose is mint, chocolate and oak. The palate is similar, but the chocolate dominates the mint and oak, with an added bit of plum and spice. Excellent mouthfeel. The only minor flaw is a touch of alcohol on the nose. However, it does not show on the palate. An incredible QPR at $15 a bottle.
