Mosel Producer Visits-Mostly 2022 Riesling; 9/6/2023-9/7/2023: Dull yellow. Honey and baked peach. Rich, quite sweet (170 grams of sugar), pure Golden Delicious apple and yellow peach. Good acidity, medium length, and a smidgen of slate. Sumptuous but not a BA with long term potential.

Mosel trip; 9/6/2019-9/7/2019: *** brief notes, no rating, for my own memory *** Drunk at the winery. From double Magnum! Wonderful pure, precise and clear. No botrytis, just pure, perfect ripe fruit. Incredibly dense, great balance of sweetness and acidity. Never cloying. Very long and lingering. Already joyful to drink. Potential for the next 2-4 decades! 94-95+

Pale lemon colour.
Pronounced intensity and complex on the nose with honey, pear and floral notes.
Very complex and rich on the palate, sweet, medium plus body, high acidity, very long finish.
Incredible wine.
