Another review said Viognier often has a sleepy period around 5-6 years. Maybe that’s the case here - or maybe this is just a bad bottle. Quite closed. Hints of lemon and ginger but certainly not the floral it and rich honey and citrus I expected. Textural and hot on the palate. Disappointing.

Sommairement, après plusieurs jours... Toute la typicité variétale d'un assemblage rhodanien. Ample, généreux, acidité modeste, fruits exotiques doux, mangue. Bonne persistance. Bien élaboré et l'alcool s'intègre discrètement.

I'm biased to love everything from LVP, and this is no exception. Enjoyed as a summer starter with friends at the cottage, where this French-style white blend was so welcome on a hot summer day on the lake. Pairs so well with charcuterie and cheese appetizers. Back up the truck and buy half a case of this every year if you can.

Beautiful Rhone blend from one of Canada’s best boutique wineries. Clear, pale gold.
Powerful aromatics. Quite floral. Notes of fleshy peach, lychee, mandarin orange, wet stone and white pepper.
Oily and textural on the palate. Medium acidity. Not a warm summer day kind of wine. More of a pasta and cream sauce kind of wine.
Flavours are very long. Notes are well matched to the nose with loads of peach, melon, tropical fruit and an oaky, peppery finish.
Drinking well but no rush. Drink to 2026+
