By the Glass at Osteria in Philadelphia. Beautiful orange hue. Deep and perfumed nose of airy strawberries, raspberries, honey, herbs, fried dough, nuts, citrus peel/rind. Great mouthfeel - again fresh berries, light, herbal aspects. Very full and red-wine like - smooth tannins and good acid. Lively. Citrus rind and stone fruit pit. Really something different and a surprise. Perfumed, light berry finish with good acid. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je Ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 16/20.

I find that decanting "orange wines" for a couple of hours at least really allows you to experience the wine in all its purity. I decanted this bottle for 2 hours was justly rewarded. In addition to its gorgeous orange hue, the wine was beautifully balanced with multiple layers of complexity and it just kept evolving in the glass. Drinking beautifully right now.

(Damijan Podversic Kaplja) Light medium orange color with clear meniscus; intriguing, lime honey, floral, butterscotch nose; tangy, tart lemon, cantelope palate with a touch of butterscotch and a sense of smoke; medium finish (Chardonnay, Malvasia Istriana, Tocai Friulano)

My last bottle, and it was as good as my first one 9 years ago.

According to others this is well past its drinking window. I find this not to be the case. Continues to drink with lots of focus, finesse and soul.
