  • A great introductory Chablis for the uninitiated, and it’ll only set you back a little more than twenty bucks. Pretty pear, lime, and toasty almond notes with pulverized wet stone aromas set it up for a crisp clean palate with lemony acidity integrated into an overall creamy texture with yellow apple fruit and a limestone backbone. The complexity is actually quite impressive for a village-level wine, really the only difference between this and a cru wine is the concentration of the juice. A pleasure when you want the crisp sexiness of Chablis without the price pressure or pretense of a higher level wine.
