Fresher with more spice than you might expect. Palate is a little tight right now. Obviously made in the "new style" and while a 2017, needs a little time still to ease in. But just opened. More serious than one might expect from Argentinian Malbec.

De color rojo con tintes violaceos, intenso. Piernas bien definidas, ligeras. Notas a frutas rojas como cerezas. Equilibrado. Acidez y taninos bien integrados. Suave, moderada persistencia en boca.

Beautiful wine, not at all like the typical cheap Malbec. While there is good fruit, it's not jammy and sweet, but rather cool, with a twist of tobacco and menthol. Likewise, instead of flabby and limp, this wine has some very decent backbone, with moderate acidity and noticeable tannins. Certainly the best Malbec under $20 that I've tasted. Would buy again.

Scant nose, acidic lift, vegetal, black fruit, alcohol, Big and fat on palate, full bodied, black fruited, drying, plentiful soft tannins, bitter, seems over extracted, stemmy, wet sand, tart, finish falls off a cliff, better than many but, not as good as good as prior vintages. There’s a reason the French use it as a minute part of a blend. Purchased from retail store and enjoyed over two days…Na zdrowie

Very dry early in but some fruit eventually came around 60-90 minutes after opening. Definitely not your typical Malbec
