Dark crimson in color, this wine (50% Monastrell/20% Syrah/20% Merlot/10% Tempranillo) revealed blackberry, licorice and a floral element on the nose. The mouth feel brought brisk acidity, more dark red fruits and some violet undertones. The finish was medium with a nice integration of all the elements. 14% abv.
Purchased for $10US, this is a fruit forward, excellent qpr that retains its sense of origin.

Another interesting spanish blend with very dry, mineral nose followed by peppery and chalky hints on the tongue. Would be great with a good charcuterie board mix of meats, cheeses, and olives. Look forward to purchasing again.
