Clear brass. Nose of slate and grapefruit. Notes from day 3, though day one was an excellent match with a spicy chicken stir fry. Tangy citrus with some peach, good acidity and a hint of bitterness. Fairly complex flavor profile, good finish. Really sings as a food wine with Chinese, Thai, and perhaps Indian food. On its own it lacks a bit of sweetness for my taste but is still good.

Didnt take any notes at the time of drinking. But it tasted similar to drier rieslings from Austria with a bit more richness, and "figure to it" as someone else said!). Fresh, floral, and delicious on its own.

Well-balanced, quite powerful Kerner wine, sourced from the steep slopes of the Eisack Valley (Eisacktal / South Tyrol). ‘Kerner’ is a German cross of Riesling and Vernatsch (Trollinger) that was created in 1929 by the grape breeder August Herold and named after the 19th-century poet and writer Justinus Kerner. Aged for five months on its fine lees, it shows a bright lemon-yellow color and a fragrant nose of white flowers, fresh peaches, nectarine and a touch of hay. On the palate: an elegant and rather complex wine, plenty of concentrated citrus and stone fruit, with a good mineral texture and a fine underlying acidity. Harmonious finish. The wine is already drinking very well now but with the potential to age for three-four years.

Quarantine Wines; 3/10/2020-5/11/2020 (At Home): First time on this, a buy from Envoyer. The note from Elychon nails it. V. Good wine. Its basically Alto Adige Riesling with some body.
