Really wonderful aged Chablis. Still a nice yellow color (a bit darker than what one expects from Chablis, but no sign of being old – a medium color for Chardonnay). Lovely subtle nose of lychees, cotton candy, lemon curd. These flavors move to the palate, along with some fresh green herbs, all of which is enveloped with a lovely tart acidity. The flavors just dance across the tongue. Lovely long finish, with mouth smacking acidity that makes me want to take the next sip. I am sorry this is my last bottle.

Right at the cusp before it drops into oblivion, but drinking very very well now. If there is a typical "Chabils", this would come very close. A very enjoyable late evening wine (that is when I had it :-))... if you have any in the cellar drink them now, or at least very soon. The nose is still very rich, but the palate fades a little. But still a good 30-40 seconds.
