Dry and unfortunately a little anemic on the palette. The nose suggests a great wine. It certainly has enough body (it is Cabernet Franc) to pair with food — in particular cheese — we paired with lobster and that was a surprising mistake. It has a tart refreshing finish and lots of apple and stone fruit. There is a mineraly “flinty” core to this wine that undid some of its magic. Overall good wine but not our first choice.

Gutsy well balanced rose from the Finger Lakes of NY. Released for the first time this summer. I prefer it to their more familiar rose of Pinot Noir. Drink now for it's youthful exuberance.
