We had a very nice $35 wine with our Thanksgiving turkey. On day three OF leftover pizza we had this wine. I’d rather drink this, frankly, and keep the difference in price. I thought the more expensive wine was a higher points wine, but I could drink this EVERY DAY AND BE A HAPPY MAN.

Delicious wine especially for the price! High alcohol, maybe some heat. Otherwise tons of crushed red fruit, super fresh as well. Reminded me in some way of an extracted gamay from a hot vintage.

Red fruits on the nose, raspberry and cherry. Again red fruit on the palate with some white pepper. Then the alcohol gets more on the forefront and is a bit intrusive. On day 2 I tasted the wine at 16° to reduce the alcohol.

Consistent, like everything from Juan Gil Family Estates. Bright red fruit on the nose, soft lush fruit on the palate, smooth, no discernible oak, plenty of acidity, relatively short finish. This is crazy good for the $8 I paid for it. Great daily drinker
I do prefer the non-organic Honoro Vera Monastrell which always seem sto taste bigger than this.

Light purple translucent. Hot nose, then ripe dark fruit. No oak, or not much. Green pepper on occasion. The palate is delicious: just the right balance of dry tannin and juicy acidity to make you want one more sip. Very nice! Day 2 still strong. A little black pepper in the glass, too.
