Tasted over 2 nights at various stages of decanting with little to no change. This wine is still hot and closed and not integrated. Possibly worse than my last bottle which I rated for potential, and maybe influenced by my expectations that this should be drinking better now. Should never have pulled this from the offsite, it needs a long time and even then I don’t know…
This wine has been and remains stuck in neutral after 5 years in the bottle. 3+ of air, and still tight, inhibited, muted. Muted dark fruit, tart acidity on the pallet. This wine remains on hold, who knows how long it will take to come around. Definitely my least favorite Myriad G-3 vintage st this stage.
Still too young I think. Drank over several hours, so the grippy tannins softened over the evening, but it didn’t really open up the way I think it has the potential to. I have 3 more so going to be patient with the rest.

This 100% cabernet beauty is deep purple in color with a pronounced nose of blackberries, cassis with subtle notes of cinnamon, leather and cocoa. On the palate the wine bursts with dark berries with chocolate, cigar box and vanilla notes. You feel the fullness of this elegant wine on the palate with fine tannins and a long finish.
Five hour decant. Deep dark purplish magenta color. Black cherry, strawberry jam, cinnamon roll, rain on hot concrete, and subtle macadamia and cacao. Dry, plush palate. Rounder tannins on the longish finish.
This was much better than I expected based on CT reviews. Not completely integrated yet, but really enjoyable with a long decant. I’ll try a two hour decant, in another year, with my next bottle.
