Right up my alley big amount of flint in the nose, nice roundness on the palette but also great fresh acidity. Great lingering finish. Not for everyone because of the big flinty aromas and flavors.

Beautiful, expressive and at the same time light fragrance of white flowers and pome fruits.
On the palate, a very charming Burgundy, surprisingly with a good weight for a Village. Clear and pure aromas, pleasant (medium+) acidity, silky mouthfeel. Orachard fruit, lemon curd, fine minerality. Shows a nice balance and invites to drink.
The name of the wine is derived from the three plots from which it comes: Bergerie, Masures and Chênes. The age of the vines is between 20 and 50 years.

Caroline Morey Chassagne-Montrachet Chambrees 2018. Umiddelbart mer åpen - guns blazing. Nydelig duft med stor intensitet. Mye spice. Relativt bløt i strukturen - savner kanskje litt spenst her. Dog er det en særdeles sjarmerende og deilig drikkevennlig vin. Strammer seg brukbart opp i finishen som sitter lenge. Nydelig vin. 91p+

Smoky reduction. Jeremy Holmes’ note really sums it up well. Obviously still somewhat tightly wound. Lovely wine and I’ll hold my other bottle for a bit.

So much sulphur it actually burns my nostrils. Flashy oak that doesn't feel too toasty and bright orchard fruit with some orange oil and smoke. Nice stuff. Sacrificed in the name of science...
