My friend and I had fun experiencing Lebanese wine last night with this 2015 Massaya Cap Est and a 1998 Chateau Musar. Clearly very different wines that are nothing alike. Yet it was fun to see the contrast in grape varietals and winemaking styles from the same region. This is a bright, fragrant wine full of vibrant, crisp red fruits. Really fun to sip throughout the evening.

Similar to the Classic Red but from the drier, warmer eastern side of the Valley and that shows on the palate. This wine has a jammy kind of ripe sweetness and more overt spice from the grenache component.
