A year ago many of my '16 Gigondadses were shut down, so this may not be showing its best, but like the other '17s I have already tasted this seems to be cut with Welches Grape Soda.
Flavors of raisin cinnamon buns and grape sweet-tarts. There is a dusty mineral note along with a bitter vegetal one but overall this is a mess. '17 seemed to be bad for almost everyone so I look forward to tasting the '19 vintage of this wine I also ordered.

Purple and opaque with a transparent edge. The nose is less fruit forward than many Grenache blends. The nose is dominated by red fruit and some late floral notes. The palate is mostly red with hints of darker fruit. The Mourvèdre is most pronounced on the finish. 5+12+16+8=91

Decent structure. Lacks balance bit ripe on the strawberry without the back charisma.
