given as a gift and not familiar with this producer. This had immediate appeal and wonderful balance of acidity and perfectly ripe garrigue and fresh fruit. very nice

Powerful layers of dark, spicy, intense fruits soak your palate and hit your nose. This is going to need time to develop, allowing the layers of peppery fruits, herbs and tapenade to come together. The wine is always a bit of a chance as there is never any SO2 used during bottling. The wine is a blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 30% Syrah.

Wonderful deep dark brooding inky Chateauneuf - somewhat subdued this young - but sleek deep dark fruit and earth there. Yum.

A big jolt of dark red fruits, spice, pepper and herbs hit your nose and palate and hangs in there with you.
