Straw yellow color. Rounded and summery on the nose, with mango and melon fruit aromas alongside some white flowers and grass. There's also a slight pop of sweetness and toasted richness, like a faint whiff of apple pie. On the palate, it's interesting and a bit difficult to describe. It's neither especially intense nor especially complex, but it's very pure and well knitted together, such that it strikes me not with a collection of flavors but rather a singular, unified impression of something like fresh summer air. If I concentrate on identifying separate flavors, I can find the melon and mango fruit from the nose, as well as some white-pepper spiciness and wildflower-honey sweetness, but the wine seems to tell me it would rather I just have another sip, if you know what I mean.

Ripe peach and pear with a little pineapple, savory grease, white pepper. Bit of sulphur, salt. Good (M+) acid but relatively full body and some oiliness in the mouth. I like the savoriness and mild funkiness, I would prefer a leaner structure. 6.2/10
