Dark red with a hint of bricking at the edge. Nose was cherry and plumb with earthy/barnyard overtones. Nice mouthfeel with cherry, earth, leather and a bit of mocha on tasting. Well integrated tannin, lasting finish. If I had this wine blind I would have guessed a 99 St. Emilion made in a new world style, odd for a cab.

What a surprise. A 25 year old $15 bottle that drank better than Cabs half that age and 3 times the price.

This is still doing very well. Some noticeable fruit and good balance initially, but finishes a little disjointed. Still, very nice surprise.

Still excellent. Nice dark color. Earth and leather nose. Cherry up front and tobacco finish. Smoky.
