Beautifully aged. The acid profile has softened nicely. Still some limes with some toast type notes. The wine is still in good condition and well stored bottles should continue to develop further.

An intriguing nose. Certainly citrus, lemon, melon. Also kerosene, which sounds bad but actually isn't. Dry palate, good acid structure. Probably time to drink this now.

Starts out quite reductive with strong rubbery notes dominating everything else, but with some air this blows off to reveal pungent aromatics of smoke, kerosene, gravel and citrus fruits. Bone dry in the mouth, but incredibly light and refreshing with more citrus fruits and pear flavours over smoke and minerals, razor-sharp acidity acidity and a medium-long finish with some lemon pith bitterness at the back end. Very nice after half an hour of air once the rubbery funk cleared.

NobleRottersSydney - O'Leary Walker with David O'Leary (Alio's, Surry Hills): A similar yellow-green colour [to the 2005], and a similar but a more pronounced nose than its older brother. The acid is better defined on the palate, the weight is medium-bodied and hold some length even to the back palate. A better wine than the 05 – seemingly a lighter wine but with better persistence and finish. Should improve.

Floral and spice characters. Palate has lovely balance and acid structure. Prefer this to the Polish Hill in this vintage.
