Lemon colour. Pronounced nose of sherbet and lime. Medium plus acidity, slightly fading in the mid palate. Apple and lime on palate. Good value aged Riesling.

{screwcap, 12%} Textbook Clare citric lemon and lime aromas. Zesty acid, so crisp it almost hurts - it certainly makes you salivate. Fresh citric flavours, light-medium weight on the front and mid-palate. Medium length (just) finish, although fairly straightforward. No suggestion of it being anything other than dry. Super chugging wine!

This wine has aged well and has a lovely hint of sweetness while retaining its riesling character. A very good aged riesling.

Wine-Ark Cellar Club Tasting 11 - December 2009. Christmas drinks (Roof Terrace Australian Museum): Nose: Flint/slate, lime, cold wet stone, perhaps with v.subtle kerosene
Mouth: Initial acidic bile, subtle lime.
Quite nice but not enough finish for me.
