Drinking nicely, lovely Cabernet Franc, went very well with wife’s “Forks Over Knives” Barley, sweet potato and mushroom stew. And some nice ripe Camembert. Yum

Completely consistent note as mine from 11/12/2020. This wine is absolutely remarkable, and I have no idea why I've only had two other bottles in the last three years considering how well it drinks TODAY. I tend to think that since Bourgueil ages so well that I should keep them all for down the road, because it's so fun drinking 20 year old wine on a Tuesday, which these can do for cheap. Well, it's also damn fun drinking any $12.80 wine on a Tuesday that's 92 points of enjoyment, and who knows if this vintage will remain this good for that long. I'm shocked how good these are and remain. The best, most drinkable young Guion I've ever had. No hesitation to drink now. This Domaine bottling was so good on release I bought three cases of the 2018 Prestige once offered, but in this vintage, the Domaine is WAY more enjoyable on this stage. Perhaps I need to stop drinking my 2018 Prestige (I've already consumed nearly a case, simply because I possess more of them), and just focus on the first case of this wine. I will say this is best after ~10-30 minutes open, and after that the structure gets more and more foreboding, covering some of the fruit. If I scored it after several hours, I'd call it 91.
Consistent with notes a year ago. Excellent QPR. Strong frame and thick tannins, so plenty of time to drink this (2023-2033). Technical score: 88. Enjoyment score: 90.

At Lisa's 50th Party at the house. Drinking nicely now. All in balance, now with a touch of tertiaries. It was tied for WOTN with the Becker PN 2019.
