Dark yellow with a tinge of green. Initially, the flavour and structure seem strangely at odds. The palate suggests a rich, oaky Chardonnay with plenty of age: strong notes of caramel and fairy floss, supported by green apple, vanilla bean and mashed pear. On the other hand, the mouthfeel is medium-bodied, acidic and steely, with crisp apple and lime on the finish. A few hours after opening, the wine seems more rich and opulent, with notes of over-ripe peach, banana and pineapple, then hints of clove and cinnamon.
This wine has a ton of flavour; at first it was disjointed, but it turned into a decadent fruit bomb after a few hours (under refrigeration; the flavours were stronger when the wine was cold than when it was room temperature). I'm inclined to wait a few years before opening another bottle.

A fair bit of variation between all the bottles of this that I have had. Light golden colour, sweet, oak and butter obviouson the nose. Its well integrated on the palate, rich, smoky, cashews and some spice. A little acid meaning that its not too flabby but it lacks any persistance and finishes quite short.

YES-sortof. A wine that is on the edge of greatness but draws back favouring mediocrity. There is a great chardonnay thing going on (with oak) in the first gulp but then it pulls back and fails to deliver more, more that I felt it was capable of. Oh well. But, worth drinking.

Lemon and mineral aromas. Great acidity with lemon and pear flavors. Lemon drop aftertaste.
