    Popped this and bottle breathe for close to 4 hours. Dark garnet pour with slight aged edges.

    Initially barnyard, then opens up to cherry, dried fruit, with balsamic nuances and wet tobacco. Tasted stewed berries with hints of pencil shavings at the finish. Supple tannins and medium acidity.

    Very similar to a classic chianti classico riserva.
