  • Very pale. Lovely broad fragrance, sweet apple and pear, good varietal character. Quite a tight flavour, a little midpalate bitterness. Creamy minerality, some nice fruit but it's a bit muddy and lacks the purity of good examples of the style. A touch cleaner the next day but nothing special. [Screwcap; 11% abv; Booths, £12.50].

  • Very pale, quite a lot of spritz in the glass. Wonderful aroma, with intense sherbet, lime, and mineral. Surprisingly light bodied, more spritz on the tongue. Nice fruit but not distinctive. Bright, nice, okay price. [Screwcap; 11% abv; Booths, £12.50].
