One of 5 young burgs sampled from the cellar. Clean simple colour, watering at rim. Little perfume. Very good fruit-dominated palate, but one-dimensional. Still pretty tannic. No great length, but certainly a satisfactory intensity for a village wine. Not ready, revisit in 2 years.
Half bottle. Light ruby with some fading. Ripe blueberry, then licorice and pine needle. Medium to lighter weight with light dusting of wood. Blue and black fruit, spice, high acidity. The latter rather than tannin gives a twist of astringency. Good village wine but nothing special.
