  • Initially good, but close down after 10 min. Very austerre and tight, but structure behind shows a good structure, fruit and more VR than in my last bottles. On day two much more enjoyable. I'll definitely wait another year or two before trying one of my remaining 9 bottles.

  • Very tight and maybe in a closed phase still. Dominated with tree and tight tannins it is similar to two bottles tasted last year. Not much VR style, but after 2 hours it reveals some decent fruit and the smell is good and the structure behind the tree is still promising.

  • Lots of cherry, spice and cola in this wine. Really complex and interesting. Reminds me a lot of a nice Russian River Valley Pinot Noir with just slightly lighter body. A little pricey at $42 for this level of Burgundy but it does deliver quite a nice and interesting experience.

  • Brooding and deeply toned red fruits bordering on black with spice and clove on the nose. Palate borders on complex with fruit that is lacy but with some nice depth, spicebox and earth. Fairly tannic with balanced acidity, would reward some time in bottle. Quite lovely, very nice villages.
