Needs 3-4 hours of air in a decanter. It definitely has a Rutherford’s cab flavor, but also develops cherry and citrus secondary flavors. Soft mouthfeel …needs a lot of air to integrate, nose has herbal characteristics. It’s a nice wine, not the best Cedarmen I’ve had, but a nice wine. Probably near or at peak. It can go longer in the cellar…best guess is another couple of years.

Opaque. Cherry kirsch, raspberry, red licorice, red currents, and spice. Rich and powerhouse of a wine with high cherry, raspberry, cedar and pine notes. Slight note of white pepper. This is a monster in terms of flavour and heat 15.5 alc. really quite good. Loving the Howell Mtn weight and depth.
