One hour double decant. Deep dark magenta color. Blackberry, blueberry, dark raspberry, slightly spicy Hershey’s syrup, violet, and subtle cedar. Very smooth, dry, full bodied palate. Firm, yet voluptuous tannins on the long finish.
Very fun, very low production, best barrel CS. Venge is the winemaker. It’s got terrific structure and fragrance, but the syrupy quality prevents a higher score. Even so, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Mark pulled this out for Joel, Jimbo, and I. I had never heard of it. Only 24 cases made (i.e., single barrel). Great starter to an amazing wine weekend.
Picked up at auction a month ago. I had no idea of this wine in spite of drinking Trespass for a while, now. First wine of the night with Agelvis in town!
This was double decanted for an hour then back into the bottle. What amazing viscosity. Twice that of the regular Trespass.....
Dark magenta in the glass. Nose of blue and red fruit, a hint of violets and cedar.
Palate of milk chocolate, red balanced fruit. Full bodied, well balanced and a great finish with perfect acidity which lengthens the finish quite well. Chalky smooth at the end of the bottle 3 more hours in.......
My third time with this wine. Perfectly balanced and full of delicious dark fruit… smooth on smooth… sails on through a long finish.. causes a comment on every sip. Its a mouthful but in mo way over the top. Only comment is i thought it broke down just a little after a couple hours on the finish. It is so good now i am not going to risk it changing.

Well, all I can say is OMF*ingG! I was leery because I didn't believe that the OMG would be that much better at 2.5 times the price of their regular Cab. I was wrong and Donny Gallagher - the Proprietor was right. Donny convinced me to try the OMG.
I Coravin'ed a glass last night and thought "oh my f*ing g." Today I opened it up for dinner and of course, I am having a glass right now during football. This is darker, a little richer, full-bodied, and more flavorful. Deep dark purple and red coloring. Blackberry, Blueberry, Blackberry Pie, Licorice, Vanilla on the opening through mid-palate and milk chocolate/mocha on the long finish. Lots of tension, perfect balance of acid and tannins. Mineral, stone and graphite throughout, but not pronounced and beautifully flavored throughout. Nothing is over the top; it's just put together great. This wine reminds me of watching Bruce Springsteen and the East Street Band live. The energy is just unreal!
I will score this later tonight unless I finish the bottle before dinner.
