Supple, warming and life affirming. Something to please the crowd but with enough interest behind it to keep your concentration. Med body, silky at 6 years old, dried raspberry, subtle med- tannin, playful forest berry, a bit of dried leaves/stems. Exactly where it should be. Paired well with Catan and friends

Very delicious, effortless, delicate, pure Beaujo. Absolutely brilliant purity and balance from this OG producer.
N: Fresh, bright red currants, snapped stems, almost mint freshness. Underlying earth, moss, tree bark.
P: Medium body, raspberry, red currants with a touch of austerity, elegant med- tannins, silky bright mouth feel. Delicate lifted berries dominate. Some softening from what feels like old wood.
F: Forest floor, dried cranberries, red apple skin.

What I think is a younger-vines version of the classic Thevenet Morgon cuvée, this is all crunchy goodness, fresh grapes, red & blue fruit, a wisp of white pepper, maybe a bit of what seems like old oak. Good acidity. Just a touch of grippy tannin gives it great balance and there’s a really nice herbal stem note on the finish to give it an extra layer of complexity. Delicious and impossible to put down.

Very drinkable. A more trad Beaujo nose, and a nice grippy juicy palate, but we prefer other producers of this vintage (e.g., Thivin, Bouland)

Quite dark, limited nose, but a good mixture of fruit, tannins and acidity. Pretty long and an enjoyable drop.
