  Popped and poured. Hoping for an 05 that is open, but this wine is not. The nose is bright cherry notes with a healthy amount of oak resin. The palate has a lot of energy and acidity, but it is just not at all giving or charming. Fairly extracted and tight, somewhat juicy and a drying finish. When will these 05s start to drink well?
