Brownish brandy-liqueur colour. Smells of overripe fruit and dried date/fig/apricot/plum infused cream caramel. Almost a Christmas touch. Ditto in mouth, added wood, syrup and some acidic tropical flavours. A bit too much of spoiled fruit, yeast process and cask vanilla, and declining stuff found after too long in the back of the fridge. Needs time to balance. Usually a big fan of liquid desserts, but this one brought a bit too much of the old & s(p)oiled added aging timber.
