From a .375 and consumed with foie gras as an hors d’oeuvre. Wine was clear, deep golden color. Nose of must, apricots and spice. In the mouth, the wine was surprisingly uncloying. Strong botrytis flavors of nuts, apricots and tangerine. Nice finish! Wonderful alternative to the de rigueur Sauternes/Barsac pairing with foie gras.
