Fruit more evolved, very aromatic, but still very sweet, albeit less cloyingly jammy than 2.5yrs ago. Brambly is still the word. Very little sediment despite passing through several cold winters in my pit cellar. I prefer it now than a few years ago, and probably there is no hurry to drink it.

Uncomplicated pleasant, strong fuit forward but a but light on the tanins, leaving it a bit disappointing but still very drinkable. Tanins: moderate, Fruit: plenty of cherry and dark berries Other: Finish: reasonable

Decanted 2hrs before drinking. Very commercial: no sediment. Youngish deep magenta colour but somewhat watery at the rim reflecting that sadly heavy filtering. Some cloying sweetness of the fruit, which did tone down after it had been open a while. But also a deeper brambly element. Bit hollow first day but rounded out on second day. Suggested drinking window looks sensible.

Wow, a big brash and super-enjoyable wine. Plenty of spice, black fruit and a smooth finish. Perfect with a butternut squash and chorizo casserole.

Rustic, dark fruits, subtle smoke, pepper on finish.
