Screwcap sealed, served moderately chilled. Firm lemony nose along with sauvignon blanc-like nettles. Nice tangy lemony acidity, but also some complexity arising in the form of some nuttiness and a faintly grassy/waxy finish that has surprising length for a wine of this stature.
All in all, no great surprise. A wine that consistently punches a little above it's weight and worked well with the plaice + smoked salmon risotto we matched it with tonight.

Nose: Very Sauv Blanc-like nose but more hay than grass with some smoke hints. Palate: Very crisp and clean with nice melon undertones. Very good for the money. Torres wines always seem to be a good value.

Torres tasting (Britannic Wine Club, Sunbury): Pale yellow; slightly sauvignon nose with something a little more floral and slightly smokey. Clean, quite crisp, citrus, crisp apple finish. OK. Good match with seafood etc. 11.5abv. **

Crisp, pineapple nose. Tastes of pineapple, green apple, with subtle mineral notes and crisp acidity. Slightly smoky finish.
