Tasted blind. Very polished, rounded. Ripe fruit but not over the top. Blackberries, vanilla oak, fine tannins. Modern style that I don’t like but I can see this appealing to others.
Estate visit and tasting, Vi de Villa meaning like a Village in Burgundu, not from a single vineyard, the vineyards are all northern exposure, or NW from 60% Carignan and 40 Garnacha, all soi la are LLicorela/slates and 50 YO or more... nose is a bit closed but shows mint, menthol and fruits, palate is crispy, juicy, a bit of dark chocolate with a little sourness, currant, blackberry, nice palate with a long finish lingering on the good umami/salty that the soils brings here... liked it
