  Initial nose: Chicken bouillon, licorice/anise. Palate: Tight and tannic. Rustic. After 90 minutes air: hints of peppermint, cherry sucret lozenges and subtle cork. Eventually gave way to cork and was disposed of.

  Nice bourgogne, nothing to get excited about. Could improve with a bit more maturity but I have my doubts. Could not taste the fabled 2005 vintage in this Burgundy. Not as good as Patrice Rion's Burgundy.
