Drank over three days with only moderate change over that time. Poured a beautiful pinkish copper hue. Strawberries, pastry and the slightest hint of apples up front, followed by a wonderful yeastiness and toasted nuts. Leesy and delicious, as is typical for the J Schram rose. This is still quite young and will evolve and develop nicely over the coming years, 92 now with plenty of upside.
59%/41% Chard/Pinot Noir. Bottled in March 2013, disgorged in May 2020 with 8.3g/L dosage. 12.8% ABV, 40% barrel fermented, 3.10pH.

Beautiful color and tiny bubbles in the glass. Nose: fresh red fruit, strawberry, peach Palate: same red and stone fruits, light mineral/bready finish.
Good balance. Acidity, fruit, alcohol, etc all in line. Refereshing while still having depth.
Is it worth the price tag? Absolutely not. Tasty nonetheless.

Delicious. Ready to drink. Especially on a hot day with friends. Maybe outside. Inside is fine too.

Beautiful, light, crisp and delicious. Too bad this was my last bottle. A great bubbly for any occasion.
