Notes similar as last time, but actually less oxidization on this one. Fresh, crisp, and light but gains some weight and complexity as it warms and opens. Great entry level, even if prices state-side are usually $30-plus.

A bit of petrol creeps on the mostly linear citrus nose. Acidity is high, a touch of richness exists to balance, and there are clean citrus and perhaps some green fruit notes. Caught a few hints of oxidation so drink now. It is a great value and a great bourgogne level white.

May have been better a year ago. Showing early signs of premox. Little nose ,thin palate, pleasant enough, but I've had much better Macon and village Bourgogne blanc.

We only bought at the low end from Yves Boyer-Martenot this trip thinking that it would be easier to have them ship. Their Bourgogne Blanc fits in the "low end," which is doing it a massive disservice. Light golden yellow, this wine represents white Burgundy so well. As a previous tasting note described, it has orchard fruits, minerality, good acidity, some citrus, delightful balance. Excellent value but the premier crus are better yet...

Tasting at Boyer-Martenot (Domaine Boyer-Martenot (Meursault)): Very clean, with a touch of oak. Great acidity; lemon, sour apple. Soft finish with a touch of tang.
